Eco Hacker Farm

Eco Hacker Farm is an umbrella organization that helps to set up and support, new and existing projects that combine hackerspaces with permaculture farms to provide a sustainable living space for people to experience a way of life that is not necessarily dependent on the system but using appropriate, open source and low cost technological solutions. By supporting community projects, people are able to bring their own ideas to the rest of the community and work together with others in order to implement them.

Kuckucksmuehle - Germany

A historical water mill in the North East of Germany, (Branderburg Federal State). We aim to restore the mill and its outbuilding, set up a Hackerspace / Hackbase and permaculture farm.

powerplant

An open source web app that allows anyone planning a garden to utilize companion planting and other permaculture practices. It provides intelligent suggestions to help the gardener by advising the best planting schedules and combinations of crops to maximize the garden's yield.

Apart from the heavy documentation in the wiki we also have space for unwinding and presenting our experience of the project in an informal way.
